BREAKING NEWS FROM THQ!
THQ has announced it has laid off 20 staff in order to help overcome the companies financial struggles. The 20 staff are from the publishers marketing and production teams at its Agoura Hills headquarters.
CEO Jason Rubin said that the publisher is looking to update its marketing approach. The move represents "a shift of resources from oversight to production, and from centralization out to the teams." Also made clear is that no one from its development team has been impacted from this set of layoffs and that none of its titles currently in development have been affected.
